Growing a business is exciting yet challenging to say the least. Big Sky has over 25 years and has grown from 10 employees to over 500 employees. Having operations across Saskatchewan as well as Manitoba and the United States, have prompted us to view benefits globally which in today's business is critical. Competition to attract great employees has forced us more now than ever to place a high value on compensation above and beyond base salary.

Knowing that compensation packages are a key part to maintaining stable growth, we recognized the importance of working with a benefit consulting firm that could be there as a resource to address and explore issues, such as plan benchmarking, employee education, and cost management .

Bottom line, we needed someone that not only carried the expertise, but also had the infrastructure to take our life, health and retirement programs to a whole new level. Introducing the Wiegers Financial team to assist our employees with their personal investment and retirements needs made it clear to the employees that we as a company care for the personal being as well.
