Brenda Montieth's PhotoVince and Brenda specialize in retirement, investment, tax and estate planning. Our objective is to provide superior service on a one-to-one basis while entering into a long-term business relationship with each client.  Limiting  the number of client relationships that we deal with helps to ensure that we can address the individual needs and concerns of each client. They aim to manage your financial well-being using their expertise to provide financial planning that is geared towards the factors that are of most value to you. They continually strive to provide immediate, knowledgeable assistance with open communication.

Understanding wealth preservation and tailoring portfolios to meet income needs in retirement encompasses a small portion of our services. In creating a long-term relationship with our clients, this ensures continuity to the surviving spouse and ultimately addressing estate plans.

Over the long-term, planning, discipline and consistency will prove rewarding.

Brenda Montieth

Client Services Assistant with Manulife Securities Investment Services Inc.

In doing so, we have a focus that our client base mainly consists of retirees and people within five years of retirement.

Vince began working with PCS Allan Division in 1980. In 1986, he made a career change to the financial services industry and has never looked back. He had a plan and a passion to assist individuals in the financial planning process, finding his niche in the retirement field. In 2011, he was recognized for 25 years in the industry. There has been a lot of change throughout this time period. Being able to adapt has been a very rewarding challenge. Working closely with our clients has forged both business and personal relationships that have remained steadfast throughout uncertain times in the world.

Education and being current on finance is a very important aspect of our business. Vince completed the Chartered Life Underwriter(CLU) designation in 1992, the Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) designation in 1994 and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1996.  Two years ago he began the pursuit of the CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) designation and is currently enrolled as a Level III candidate.

In 2000, Brenda joined with Vince in becoming a part of the team. In 2001 Brenda began pursuing an education in tax planning. In 2011, she completed a 2-year study program which resulted in the DFA-Tax Services Specialist designation.

A formal partnership was formed between Vince and Brenda in 2011 under VSW Planning Services Ltd. Vince and Brenda each have clearly defined roles in their company; however they pride themselves on being able to cover in each others absence, truly working as a team.
