Andrea Hansen

Andrea's expertise in group benefits started with one of Canada's top group insurance companies but she soon realized that sharing her knowledge and helping local business is her true passion. Given this, she excitedly joined the Wiegers Benefits team in 2004 and has been a partner with Deb Wiegers in the benefits company since 2006.
With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, GBA and CFP certification, Andrea is well qualified to work with Saskatchewan businesses. She stays ahead of the changing market trends and products by continually educating herself and upgrading her certifications. Her innovative approach to meeting client needs has consistently made her one of the top Benefits Consultants in the province!
Andrea values community involvement, fundraising and continuing education. Her accomplishments have been recognized by various awards, including a nomination for the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards in 2005, the Saskatchewan Young Professional Award presented by SYPE in 2006 and the ATHENA Young Professional Award in 2009. Her greatest personal joy lies in spending time with husband Tim, who is an independent financial advisor with Wiegers Financial, and their children Victoria and Broderick.
